Safe Fast Way to Lose Weight
So you were invited to a birthday party, there is chocolate cake, but your on your new diet, so the cake sits there staring at you, wanting you to eat it. Sound familiar?? Sure does to me. There is nothing worse than being on that diet and youre not allowed any of your favourite foods. You almost wished that you werent invited, that way you wouldnt be in the middle of a chocolate cake binge. Making sure that when you are on a diet that you can still have some of your favourite foods is the only way you can succeed in avoiding those binges that usually make us fall off the wagon, and never get back on.
Trying to lose weight is hard, there are so many temptations out there they really test your will power. Its easy and convenient to eat fast food or junk food and often its cheaper as well, but all its doing is taking years off your life. Finding the will power that is inside of you is one key way you are going to succeed in your weight loss efforts. Trust me it will not kill you if you dont have the extra piece of cake, I know this because I have had many arguments with myself about how much I actually need that extra piece of cake.
Slipping up and eating things that are not really on your diet is part of any diet really, and part of being human. No one is 100% no matter how much they think they are. Maintaining a positive attitude towards your weight loss, will ensure that when you do have a slip up, you are not going to use this as an excuse to undo all the good work you have been doing. Looking at how far you have come is the best way to try and help maintain your positive attitude towards your weight loss.
Old habits are hard to break. Or are they? Low fat diets and Low Carb diets are designed to work fast, they restrict our diets so much, that they are very hard to maintain. Often we find ourselves feeling deprived and we will fall off the wagon and never get back on. Losing weight slowly is the only way to maintain our weight loss forever.
Find a friend? If you are struggling maybe its time to find a buddy that is also losing weight. Its hard losing weight on your own; no matter how strong you are there will always be times of doubt, frustration and times when you want to just plain give up. Having someone who is going through the same thing is the best way in which you can actually succeed. Its also great to have someone to vent to or to tell you to put down that chocolate bar.
